If you have a moment, stop by the library and check out our display, bringing awareness of our local “safe house” in Haines. Going on our 2nd year of providing a safe environment for women and children who are in an abusive situation. Becky’s Place helps with a place to sleep, food, clothing, medical assistance, counseling assistance, help with transportation and protective orders. We support and accompany women and men to the court house, police station, and appointments if needed.
